As SRF, we have a strong focus on promoting research through discovery, recovery and capacity building of aspiring independent researchers. We also support public or private organizations in capacity building of their staff in research and to institute organized data generation and analysis processes. Our training programs are friendly, dynamic and flexible in their administration and robust in content. Our core focus is on developing your research skills.

Our trainings are meant to inspire many towards research careers and to instill research skills in a more complementary way to what is offered at the university, based on real field experiences in diverse global contexts to develop well-equipped global health researchers. We are also intentional towards achieving the agenda of decolonization of global health research, promoting ethical conduct of research, research fairness and mutually beneficial research collaborations. We inspire and guide researchers to identify a research niche and build an individual scholarly identity with focus on addressing local context and global challenges through research.

Our approaches to researcher trainings:

• Public lectures, both face to face interactions at institutional level and online
• Research Schools for Undergraduates, Post-graduates, PhD students and independent researchers
• Contracted research trainings and mentorship at institutional level, individual level and through domesticating research trainings that would have going beyond their funding tenure so as to ensure sustainability and long-term access by even researchers outside Institutions of higher learning.
• Developing research scholarly materials through authoring research books, magazines, establishing research libraries and maintaining a catalogue of research books for sale.
